The Trainer
The head trainer at Tuscany Hollow is Amanda Borntraeger. She has been involved in horses all of her life and has been competing since she was nine years old. She has ridden many disciplines including hunter/jumpers, dressage, fox hunting, polo, and some western pleasure and contest, but her favorite discipline is eventing.

Mandy has introduced many horses and students into the world of eventing. She has competed in many local, regional and national shows through the preliminary level and plans on progressing through the levels now that she has finished school. She brings her knowledge of horsemanship and riding to the program all while catering to her audience and maintaining a style of teaching that is fun and energetic, yet productive.
Mandy recently graduated from the University of Louisville, where she earned an equine business degree in May 2010. In her time at U of L, she was involved in the Polo team where she was the barn manager and played on the varsity team. She took classes such as Current Equine Issues, Equine Industry Overview, Equine Science, Equine Law, and many others which have furthered her knowledge of the animal and the industry.
