The Horses
Bandit~ Bandit is a Dark Bay Lesson Pony. He is an 19 year old gelding and we love him to pieces, even with his little pony attitude. He has a star, a front sock, two hind socks and stands 12.2 hands tall. He has competed in many local hunter shows and always ribbons well.

Emma~ Emma Lou is an 9 year old 15.1 hand Dark Bay Thoroughbred owned by Erin Murphy. She has no distinct markings besides a few swirls. Her first career was in racing and she came to THS from Florida to begin her new career as an event horse. She is listed for sale and can be seen on Equine.com or on our sale page.
Hank~ Hank is a Chestnut Thoroughbred gelding. He is 16.2 hands tall, 6 years old and he has a star and front left and hind left socks. He came off the track as a two year old and joined the THS family then. He is now competing at the Training Level.

Gitana~ Tana as she is known around the barn, is a lay-up staying in the barn. She is a University of Louisville polo horse that has played on the team for about 5 years. Some students may remember her visiting 2 summers ago because she was apart of the summer camps that year. She is a 15.2 hand Bay Mare with a star, stripe and snip on her face. Tana has a very sweet demeanor and we are happy to have her back.

Lady~ Lady is one of the original THS horses. She is a Bay Quarter Horse and is our best lesson horse. She is 21 years old and stands 15.2 hands tall. She has taught many students how to ride and We LOVE her. Her sweet attitude and patience with students makes her priceless to us.

Tex~ Tex is a 16 hand Grey Thoroughbred gelding. He is 15 years old and is our schoolmaster. Mandy competed him through the Preliminary level. His funny personality and his big smile earn him lots of treats in the barn. Tex is a permenant fixture at THS and his caring attitude makes him a great mount for almost any rider.

Woody~ Woody is a Buckskin Quarter Horse gelding. He is also 14 years old and has a star, stripe and snip on his face. He loves his job as an eventer and excels as a jumper because of how quick and balanced he is through tight turns. There is never a dull moment with this horse because of his quirky personality.
